Reusing Bottle Caps
Bottle caps are an amazing material to be reused. In this post we are going to show some ideas to create gamesand toys for your kids using as main material bottle caps (plastic or metal ones). The ideas here are, apart of fun, educational! And they will help your kids develop their creativity, memory and learning skills.
A nice way to help your kids learn the alphabet, write and read is using this type of activity. Insert a letter in each bottle cap and let your kids create words and even sentences.
One of the most beloved games for kids in all ages is the memory game. It helps them to develop their memory and visual skills and keep them busy for hours. Just put some images, colors, letters, numbers or anything you wish inside the caps forming pairs and have fun.
Kids love painting! What about letting this activity more interesting, creating some stamps for them? You can use bottle caps and some E.V.A. foam. Cut some figures and glue them in the cap. You can use watercolor or ink pad with this idea.
If your kids are grown up you also can create games for them. Bottle caps are perfect to create chess or checkers games. You just need a piece of cardboard and some paint for the board and lots of bottle caps. If you decide to create chess game it is good to print from the internet the picture of the pieces, for checkers t is only paint the caps.
Tic Tac Toe
This idea is similar to the previous one but can be done for younger kids since this game is easier to be played. Choose something hard to be the board and eight bottle caps. Use paint or E.V.A. foam to decorate them and it is done.
Maths and Numbers
What about teaching your kids math in a fun and interesting way? Fill bottle caps with numbers and math’s signs to create a nice and educational game for your kids. This idea is perfect because it can be used with kids in all ages.
